DC Athletiks is a family-owned business proudly rooted in Marrero, Louisiana. Founded in May 2025 by Daine Christopher (DC), our mission is simple: to provide high-quality, affordable batting gloves for youth, amateur, and professional baseball and softball players.

The name “DC” carries a special meaning; it represents both our founder and his two sons, Daine Christopher and Dylan Carter, reflecting the family values at the heart of everything we do.

Why “21% Better Every Day”?

Our motto, “21% Better Every Day,” is more than a slogan; it’s a mindset. Inspired by DC’s jersey number 21, which honors his sports icon Deion Sanders, the phrase echoes Deion’s legendary mantra: “Look Good. Play Good.” But for us, it goes deeper than appearance.

Being 21% better each day is about self-determination, discipline, and growth. It’s a commitment to pushing yourself on and off the field. And yes, the math checks out: if you improve by 21% daily, you’ll be 105% better next week than you were this week!
